It was started by Kalvis Jansons and quickly taken up and signed but all good things must come to an end and there are only two weeks left in which to sign this petition for Gordon Brown to resign.

71700 people have signed it, it is a simple yet effective statement and yet the Prime Minister will have to respond to it.

As we know the General Election is not going to be until May 6th 2010 according to the pundits so will 71701 signatures ( I am about to go and sign it) do the trick?
